The Vestibular System, which communicates with the central nervous system and the musculoskeletal system, can be complicated and remains mysterious to many. However recent advances have offered new understanding and provided new methodologies in the treatment of balance disorders.
The most common diagnosis for vertigo and dizziness is a condition known as BPPV and can most often be treated within 3 to 5 office visits with a qualified physician or vestibular physical therapist. More extensive therapies may be necessary to treat other vestibular (inner ear) conditions.
Our physical therapy center focuses on the patient as a whole. Developing strategies and programs that enable patients to both maximize and utilize their strengths while simultaneously strengthening their weak areas.
Balance Therapy restores a patient’s sense of stability and awareness of their limitations. Using proven therapy techniques, our therapists work one on one with patients to achieve goals set not only by physicians but by the patients themselves. Certified in the field of vestibular rehabilitation, we stay on the cutting edge of all new and proven therapy options available to patients today.
